Stott also writes a column for the Edinburgh Evening News. For many years he presented a BBC schools broadcast filmed in Scotland, See You See Me. Many of the episodes were recorded with Wilma Kennedy. Episodes included studying maps, the Vikings, Romans, and the 1960s. On Hogmanay 2007, along with Michelle Watt, Stott presented STV's Hogmanay Live from Edinburgh, which was broadcast for 20 minutes 11.50pm. Earlier on the same night, Grant fronted a special programme, 50 Years of Scotsport. Stott recently appeared on promotional literature for the Edinburgh based bus company Lothian Buses.
