He has two children, Claire and Pierce. Both attend Rutgers Preparatory School in New Jersey, and are aspiring musicians, Claire playing the flute and Pierce playing guitar (also in the school choir). Claire will be attending Northwestern University in fall 2009 His first born son Christopher, also an aspiring musician and talented actor, died in 1998.
