Sir Graeme Davies, FREng FRSNZ, is a New Zealand engineer and academician. He is a former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Liverpool and the University of Glasgow and current Vice-Chancellor of the University of London, in the United Kingdom. While studying in Auckland he won the most prestigious national award in collegiate sports, the New Zealand Universities Blue for football. As a scholar, Professor Davies has taught metallurgy at Auckland, Cambridge and Sheffield and has served as Chief Executive of the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). He is also a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in Britain and an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand.
