Gingerjake is a rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The name Gingerjake comes from a moonshine Ginger Jake during Prohibition. After forming in November of 2002 and playing only seven shows together, they placed 2nd in 93X's Battle Of The Bands and got to play at Summerfest. In 2004, they returned to the 93X Battle Of The Bands and won a main stage slot at 93X Riverfest. At the cd release party of their Get It/Get Off Live album they packed The Rock Nightclub with over 400 people.
