George Martin (11 October 1833 – 21 September 1876) was an English cricketer who played for the Kent County Cricket Club. He was born in Penshurst and died in Leigh. Martin made his cricketing debut for the All England XI in 1852 at the age of just 18, alongside such future teammates as George Parr. It would be four more seasons until Martin's first-class debut, in August 1856, against Surrey. Martin would play regularly in 1858 and 1860, though his average remained low, scoring just 63 runs in 7 innings. Martin's final season with the team was 1863, in which he played a single game.
