George Howard, Jr. (May 13 1924-April 21 2007) was an American World War II veteran, attorney, and federal judge. He was the first African-American U.S. District Court judge in Arkansas. He served first on the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas, and was then transferred to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
