George Woodyatt Hastings was a politician in the United Kingdom. He was a relation of Warren Hastings (1732-1818) Governor of Bengal from 1772. The family had owned the estate of Daylesford in Gloucestershire from the 12th century, where Hastings is buried. He was elected at the 1880 general election as Member of Parliament for East Worcestershire, and held the seat until he was expelled from the House of Commons in 1892, when he was convicted of fraudulent conversion.
