Geoje is a city located in South Gyeongsang province, just off the coast of the port city of Busan, South Korea. The former Daewoo Shipyard (now DSME) in Okpo and Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) in Gohyeon are both located on Geoje Island. The city also offers a wide range of tourist sights. The city is made up of a number of islands, of which by far the largest is Geoje Island.

Det er bygget opp et meget interessant museum. Det er også andre interessante steder å besøke på Geoje og øya er et meget populær feriemål for koreanere. Det er flott natur med mye fjell og topper og godt merkede stier og endel fine strender som er lite besøkt utenom i høysesongen i juli/august. Geoje har mange expat'er og det finnes en egen klubb, pga øyas to store verft, og de fleste bor i Okpo, der det også finnes en internasjonal skole. Der er det også butikker som tilbyr «vestlige» matvarer, noe som kan være mangelvare andre steder i Korea.
