Gary Smith (born 12 March 1968) is an English former footballer, and current coach of the Colorado Rapids. As a professional player, he spent four years with Fulham F.C. , two years with Barnet F.C. , and one year with Colchester United F.C. Before managing Colorado Rapids, he was a coach with Arsenal F.C.. He assumed the head coach position of the Colorado Rapids having served as the Rapids’ interim head coach during the club’s final 11 matches of the 2008 regular season.
