After the expo was finished, Jones stayed in Vancouver and started his acting career with guest appearances in TV shows like Wiseguy, Airwolf and Dangerbay. He was also a player of the Vancouver TheatreSports League. Gary Jones is not only well known for acting (screen and stage) but also for event hosting, including several Leo awards galas, the BCSS Emerald Eve gala, and, most recently, the 1-800-got-junk gala.
