Gah is a village of Chakwal District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located in the Union council of Begal (also known as Bigal) at 33°3'45N 72°39'8E, the Naib Nazim or vice president of Begal is from Gah. Gah is notable for being the birth place of current Indian Prime minister Manmohan Singh. Due to the violence that accompanied the Partition of India in 1947 Hindus and Sikhs had to leave the area for India.
