The nickname is derived from his own joke about the so-called "Five Levels of Fatness;" in this joke, he notes that the five levels, from lightest to heaviest, are Big, Healthy, Husky, Fluffy, and "DAMN!" In 2008, he added a sixth level, dubbed "Oh Hell No!" Iglesias has made several guest appearances on The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Showtime at the Apollo, and Que Locos, as well as three of his own specials on Comedy Central, one of which was voted the half-hour "Special of the Year for 2003. " In 2000, he was a series regular for season 6 of All That on Nickelodeon. In 2006, Iglesias was a finalist in the fourth season of "Last Comic Standing," until he was disqualified for multiple violations of the contest agreement, including using a BlackBerry. Iglesias was named Comedian of the Year by Comedy Central in 2006. Iglesias has done a few independent films and voice-over work for Disney Emperor's New School. His most recent project was a one hour special called Hot & Fluffy which aired August 4 2007, and was released to DVD four days later. It has sold over 250,000 copies, making him a double platinum selling artist. He also appeared on the hit TV show "My Wife and Kids" as a Japanese chef. Iglesias can be seen in comedy clubs and theaters nationally, touring with his friends and fellow comedians, Martin Moreno and Noe Gonzalez. He has recorded a double-CD of live performances in Washington DC and San Antonio, Texas, called We Luv Fluffy. The set will be released in the fall of 2009, but is currently available at his shows. He has opened a new web shop for selling his merchandise, fluffyshop. com. His new special called "I'm Not Fat... I'm Fluffy" LIVE from El Paso will premiere on Comedy Central Sunday November 8th, 2009. He is set to do a nation wide bus tour with Comedy Central starting January 2010 called the Fluffy Shop tour.
