Fuegian languages refers to mainly to three languages spoken in Tierra del Fuego by native Americans; the Kawésqar language, the Ona language and the Yaghan language. The term can be regarded as a collective name, but currently there is no evidence that they are related to each other. The Kawésqar and Yaghan languages are considered language isolates while Ona (Selk'nam) language belongs to the Chon languages.
