Francisco Garrido Patrón is a Mexican politician, and since 2003, governor of the State of Querétaro, and member of the National Action Party (PAN). Previously he was mayor of Queretaro City, from October 1, 1997, to September 30, 2000. When he was candidate there was controversy on whether he complied the required number of years living in the city. During his term, he resolved the problem of street vendors, known as ambulantes.
