Fran Baker (maiden name McCoy, born in 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri) is an American novelist of ten romance novels in both the contemporary and historical subgenres. Eight of her novels have been translated into twenty languages and four of them have been Waldenbooks Bestsellers. She has also written a couple hundred articles, book reviews, author interviews, op-eds and humorous pieces. Currently she is writing a novel set in 1930s America.
