FoxyTunes is a browser extension which was acquired by Yahoo! on February 4, 2008. The program allows the user to control media players from the browser window. FoxyTunes works in Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, SeaMonkey, Mozilla Application Suite, Flock and Mozilla Thunderbird. The extension supports the normal media player functions and displays currently playing track information. Additionally, the extension allows searching various Web sites to get images, videos, biographies etc.
