- The Former New York Life Insurance Company Building (also known as the Clock Tower Building), located at 346 Broadway in New York, NY was built in 1894 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 28, 1982. It features a tower with a clock manufactured and installed by the E. Howard Clock Company. The eastern part of the building was designed by architect Stephen D. Hatch and built in 1894. However, Hatch died during construction and the work was taken over by the firm of McKim, Mead & White, who rebuilt the insurance company's earlier building at the western end of the site. In 1967, the City of New York acquired the building and moved several City agencies along with the Criminal Court, Summons Part there.
