- Flutlicht is the artist name of Swiss trance music producers Daniel Heinzer (also known as DJ Natron) and Marco Guardia (also known as Reverb). The two are most famous for their song Icarus, which came out on Drizzly Records in 2001. It was signed to over 150 compilations (over 3 million CDs) throughout the world. Their remixes were very sought after before Marco decided to quit producing trance in 2003. Mixes were produced for The Thrillseekers, Cosmic Gate, Talla 2XLC, and G&M Project, to name a few. Their style is a kind of harder trance. Flutlicht are two young producers from Winterthur, Switzerland: Daniel Heinzer and Marco Guardia (Reverb). Daniel is Flutlicht's public face. Flutlicht has become a very well known trance-brand all around the globe and their productions and remixes always become a talking point and are sold out very soon after their release. Daniel started deejaying about ten years ago at little events or in tiny Swiss clubs and ever since his passion for electronic music has grown stronger every day. His unmistakable style of performing high quality trance and groovy techno has led him to a shiny reputation and therefore he has been booked for events such as Futurescope, Nautilus, Energy or Nature One in Germany. Daniel toured the UK, the Netherlands, Scotland and Australia and is ready to dazzle Australia, Asia and South Africa in 2004. The Flutlicht hype started with the single “Icarus”, Drizzly Records 2001, licensed for more than 150 compilations worldwide. It was followed by “The Fall” in 2003 which kept it rocking. Daniel was a frequent guest at radioshows in Norway, Sweden, Germany, Australia, South Africa, Israel, the US and Spain. His set at the Ministry of Sound @Rotation in London is legendary. Ever since the great success with „Icarus“, Flutlicht remixes are very much sought after. Acts such as Cosmic Gate, Talla 2XLC, the Thrillseekers or S.H.O.K.K. have gained a great deal from the filigree studiowork of Flutlicht. Flutlicht has developed his innovative style continuously and it always will be. It must be noted that Marco Guardia and Daniel Heinzer are no longer part of Flutlicht. They quit the project in 2003. Other releases include Mutterkorn (2000), das Siegel (1999), Ahmea (2001) and The Fall (2002).

Im Jahre 2001 gelang ihnen mit ihrer Single Icarus (The Flight) der grosse Durchbruch. Es folgten u. a. Remixe für Cosmic Gate, Talla 2XLC, The Thrillseekers und S.H.O.K.K.. Nicht zuletzt durch ihre unangefochtenen Soundexperimente und die typische Kreativität, aus Remixanfragen beinahe eigene Tracks zu machen, ist Flutlicht noch immer einer der hochangesehensten Acts der Trance-Szene in der ganzen Welt, besonders in der Schweiz und Australien. Marco Guardia, von Projektanfang an (ca. 1999) der Producer des Projekts, ist Anfang 2004 ausgestiegen. Als letzte Produktion wurde der vorher auf Eis gelegte Remix von Sumatras "Reincarnation" veröffentlicht. Seitdem arbeiten Reverb & DJ Natron an neuen Musikexperimenten, eine Veröffentlichung steht jedoch noch nicht fest.
