Flavia Company (born 27 September 1963) is an Argentine novelist and writer. She was born in Buenos Aires but moved to Barcelona in 1973 where she still lives. She teaches at the Ateneu Barcelonès.Graduate in Hispanic languages and literature, is a prolific writer in Spanish and Catalan language and translator of many genres. Her writing has been translated into English, French, Portuguese and Dutch. She is a contributor to print media and has directed and presented television programmes. She has also translated texts by Robert Saladrigas, Fleur Jaeggy, Luigi Malerba, J.P. Hodin and Italo Svevo.
