First Assembly Christian School (FACS) is a college preparatory school founded in 1976 as a part of the ministry of First Assembly Worship Center in Concord, North Carolina. The school began as a desire to assist the members of the church in the education of their children. By 1988 there were approximately 500 students in the school. The school has had steady growth and presently numbers 820. FACS serves a diverse population. In 2006, 130 churches were represented within the student body.
