The Finnish Cultural and Academic Institutes is a group of cultural and educational organizations which aim at promoting the Finnish language and culture. It was founded in 2005, with the merging of the various Finnish cultural centers around the world. Its headquarter is in Espoo. It is comprised of 17 institutes around the world: Athens, Brussel, Berlin, Budapest, Copenhagen, London, Madrid, Damascus, New York, Oslo, Paris, Rome, Saint Peterburg, Stockholm, Tallinn and Tokyo.
