It was originally equipped with a 4-cylinder engine block (60 HP) which was later replaced with a bi-tri-6 cylinder engine block (65 HP) and was manufactured at the plant in Corso Dante.

Conçue avec un souci de luxe dans les moindres détails, elle fera les beaux jours des carrossiers américains Quimby et Demarest. Pour leur faciliter le travail, cette imposante voiture était proposée avec 2 empattements différents, normal et long. Elle sera équipée de moteurs 4 cylindres bi-blocs et 6 cylindres tri-blocs : 1ère série avec un moteur de 10.563 cm3 - alésage x course de 145 x 160 mm - 60 cv, 2ème série en 1906, sans variation mécanique mais le chassis est entièrement en acier. 3ème série en 1907 avec un moteur 6 cylindres tri-blocs de 11.040 cm3 - 125 x 150 mm - 65cv, Elle sera fabriquée dans l'usine de Corso Dante. Cette voiture marquera son temps avec des innovations technologiques importantes : ce sera la première berline à pouvoir disposer d'un allumage à magneto haute tension et d'un démarrage à l'air comprimé. Autre nouveauté, le refroidissement automatique des tambours de freins à l'eau.

Fu commercializzata per soddisfare la forte richiesta di automobili lussuose d’esportazione, compresa la domanda dal mercato americano. La trazione era posteriore ed i freni agivano sull'albero di trasmissione. Progettando la vettura con dettagli lussuosi fin dalle sue più piccole finiture, fu presentata al mercato americano dove fu completata dai carrozzieri Quimby e Demarest. All’epoca infatti le vetture venivano fornite molto spesso a telaio nudo, ed i clienti carrozzavano al vettura da carrozzieri di loro fiducia. Furono commercializzate due versioni, "normale" ed "allungata". Furono prodotte tre versioni: 1 serie: aveva un motore biblocco a quattro cilindri in linea di 10597 cc di cilindrata. L’alesaggio era di 145 mm, mentre la corsa di 160 mm. Il propulsore erogava una potenza di 60 hp. Raggiungeva gli 80 km/h di velocità massima. 2 serie:è stata introdotta nel 1906 e non presentava variazioni meccaniche rispetto al modello precedente. L’unica modifica è stata nel telaio, interamente in acciaio. 3 serie: introdotta nel 1907 con un motore triblocco a sei cilindri in linea. Aveva una cilindrata di 11040 cc. L’alesaggio era di 125 mm, mentre la corsa di 150 mm. Il propulsore erogava una potenza di 65 hp. È stata fabbricata negli stabilimenti Fiat di corso Dante a Torino. La vettura porterà importanti innovazioni tecnologiche: sarà la prima berlina a poter disporre di un'accensione a magnete ad alta tensione, e di un avviamento ad aria compressa. Altra novità, il raffreddamento automatico ad acqua dei tamburi dei freni.
