- Feng Xiaogang, es un director de cine chino. Hijo de un profesor universitario y una enfermera, comenzó su carrera en el cine en el Centro de Arte Televisivo de Pekín en 1985. Más adelante comenzaría a escribir guiones, periodo durante el cual trabajó con el director Zheng Xiaolong y el escritor Wang Shuo. Con su película Jiafang yifang (Dream Factory, 1997) estableció un nuevo género en el cine chino, el "Hesui Pian (贺岁片)" (cine de año nuevo), un tipo de comedia ligera que se proyecta entre diciembre y febrero. Está casado con la actriz Xu Fan.
