Founded by Ben Wildenhaus (guitar), Bill Badgley (guitar, vocals), and Beau Boyd (drums) in 1998. The band has toured the US, and has had two European tours, and a tour of Israel. In the beginning, the band released a self-titled LP on its own Molasses Manifesto Records, then followed it in 2001 with American Folk Horror, released by Bellingham's Estrus Records. Estrus also released X Patriot, and in 2005 released Rally Day. The band has been compared to such heavy acts as Melvins, Karp, and Black Sabbath. While Wildenhaus and Badgley have always played 4-string guitars, 2006 saw the addition of guitarist Josh Holland, so that Badgley could have the space to concentrate on his vocal duties.
