Fay Zwicky (born 1933) is a contemporary Australian poet and academic. Fay Zwicky was born and grew up in Melbourne where she began writing as a student at Melbourne University. She has since been a concert pianist and lectured in American and comparative literature at University of Western Australia until her retirement. After which she has concentrated on writing, achieving international recognition. The exploration of her Jewish heritage is a recurrent motif in her work.
