Throughout seven years of career, ºFahrenheit has received positive reviews from the media, along with worldwide exposure through MTV and Much Music, breaking new ground in the yet unexplored spanish rock market. The band has played in massive shows in Chile and Mexico, including opening for Evanescence and the legendary “Vive Latino” festival. After releasing their debut album “Chain Reaction” through Perris Records, the band decided to develop their music in its native language and started working in their first spanish album, “Nuevos Tiempos”, with multi-platinum producer David Prater, known for his work with Dream Theater, Firehouse and the Dirty Dancing movie OST. With its third album soon to released, the band hopes to keep rising in the latin rock mainstream. Their third album will be released during late 2009, for free over the internet.
- Fahrenheit (tambien FHT) es una banda de Hard Rock de Santiago, Chile, cuya propuesta es plasmar lo que hacían grupos como Guns N’ Roses, Van Halen o Bon Jovi: shows intensos, música enérgica y solos de guitarra, pero con un estilo adecuado a los tiempos actuales y en idioma español. En sus casi siete años de trayectoria, Fahrenheit ha tenido una excelente acogida en los medios de comunicación y crítica especializada. Sus singles han rotado en las principales radios y canales de televisión de Chile y también en medios extranjeros como la cadena MTV y Much Music. Durante el 2007 la carrera de la banda experimenta importantes avances, participando en eventos masivos como la primera “Cumbre del Rock Chileno” (Estadio Nacional, 50 mil asistentes), Vive Latino (Club Hípico, 45 mil asistentes) y apertura del show de Evanescence ante 15,000 personas, habiendo sido escogidos personalmente a través de su myspace por Andrew Lurie, manager de los norteamericanos. Actualmente Fahrenheit comienza a internacionalizar su carrera en México, promocionando su disco “Nuevos Tiempos”, producido por el productor multiplatino David Prater, a través de entrevistas en diversos medios de comunicación del país, participaciones en festivales masivos y diversos shows a lo largo del circuito azteca.
