At 19 he moved to the US where he studied film at Emerson College in Boston before spending 2 years working on major Hollywood features in Los Angeles like Three Kings and Titanic. In early 2000 he moved to London and started freelancing as a photographer while completing his MA in fashion photography at London College of Fashion.

His work has been published in fashion magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Yifei VISION, Neo2, Fashion China, Elle, Esquire, Gay Times and K magazine. His work has been featured in many galleries worldwide including the Lipanjepuntin gallery in Rome, Italy and The Jam Factory gallery in Oxford and he also shot for the China Now exhibition for London College of Fashion.
