ExtendedancEPlay is a three-track 12" EP by the British rock band Dire Straits, released in 1983. It is commonly called Twisting by the Pool, after the minor hit song of the same name on its first track. The EP is highly uncharacteristic of Dire Straits' usual slow and relaxed song styles, as most of the tracks have a jazz and/or swing feel with an upbeat tempo. It is the first release to feature drummer Terry Williams, who filled the spot after the departing original drummer, Pick Withers.
