Eva Ahnert-Rohlfs was a German astronomer. She made important observations of variable stars. Eva Rohlfs was born in Coburg. She studied in Würzburg, Munich and Kiel from 1931 to 1933. After nine years of withdrawal into family life, she studied from 1942 until the end of the Second World War at the University of Göttingen. From 1945, she worked closely with professor Cuno Hoffmeister as an assistant astronomer at the Sonneberg Observatory.

Als Assistentin Cuno Hoffmeisters, der Direktor der Sternwarte und außerdem Professor in Jena war, promovierte sie 1951 an der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität auf dem Gebiet der Astrophysik. 1952 heiratete sie Paul Ahnert, der ebenfalls als Astronom in Sonneberg arbeitete. Der Erfolg ihrer wissenschaftlichen Arbeit und ihr persönliches Glück wurde durch die sich verfestigende deutsche Teilung getrübt. Die in Sichtweite von Sonneberg liegende Heimatstadt Coburg war Anfang der 1950er Jahre für sie unerreichbar geworden. Eva Ahnert-Rohlfs verstarb im 42. Lebensjahr an den Folgen einer unglücklich verlaufenen Geburt.
