Erromintxela is the name both for an group of Roma found in the Basque Country and their language. The remaining speakers are today located on the coast of Labourd, the mountains of Soule, Navarre, Gipuzkoa and Biscay. The language is best described as a mixed language, deriving most of its lexicon from Kalderash Romani but using Basque grammar and syntax, in a way similar to the Angloromani language.
