Eric Anthony Sato is a former American volleyball player, who was a member of the United States men's national volleyball team that won the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. Playing as a defensive player and serving specialist, Sato had a rich history with the U.S. indoor team that also included winning the 1986 World Championships and the bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Sato was just a year or two out of Santa Monica High School when he joined the U. S.
