Emperor Liezu of Southern Tang (南唐烈祖) (died 943), also known as Xianzhu of Southern Tang (南唐先主, literally "the first ruler of Southern Tang"), personal name Li Bian (李昪), earlier also known as Xu Zhigao (徐之誥), was the founder of the Southern Tang kingdom, one of the most successful of the Ten Kingdoms of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period (907-960).

- 李昪（りべん）は十国・南唐の初代皇帝。 幼少の頃に、淮南に勢力を張った呉の重臣の徐温の養子となる。後、徐温の実子を排除して、徐温の後継となる。そして、ついには呉の皇帝から禅譲を受けて、皇帝となって南唐を建国した。即位後は戦争を起こさず、善政を尽くしたが、晩年は不老長寿の夢にあこがれ、あやしげな薬を常用し、これがもとで死んだ。 字は正倫。名はもともと徐知誥であった。後に名を徐誥に改め、皇帝に即位した後は名を李昪と改めた。廟号は烈祖であり、諡号は光文粛武孝高皇帝である。南唐を正統の王朝として認めない立場からは先主と呼ばれる。
- 李昪（888年－943年），字正倫，小字彭奴，中国徐州人（今属江苏），五代時期南唐建立者。 自称乃唐宪宗第八子建王李恪之後裔，惟至五代時期，家族不復昔日光采，甚至李昪本人已成為孤兒，為當代軍閥楊行密於爭戰中所擄，並以為養子，而楊行密諸子不能容，遂將其給予徐溫（一說為徐溫所擄，並以為養子），並改名徐知誥。 南吳時期，因功累升昇州（今江蘇南京）刺史、潤州（今江蘇鎮江）團練使，徐知誥為政寬仁，又能節儉自處，獎勵農桑，因此府庫充實。當時，徐溫居昇州，並以徐溫長子徐知訓居南吳都城揚州（今江蘇揚州）控制南吳政權，天祐十五年（918年）徐知訓因驕傲荒淫為朱瑾所殺，徐知誥就近自潤州渡長江平變，自是徐溫乃以其代替徐知訓留揚州，日常政事皆由徐知誥處斷。 徐知誥在揚州，一反徐知訓之作為，恭敬事奉吳王楊隆演，並且謙卑對待士大夫，對待部屬寬大，生活十分儉僕，並以宋齊丘為謀士，改革稅制，因此國家遂漸富強，人心歸附。 南吳順義七年（927年）徐溫去世，徐知誥與徐溫親子徐知詢爭權，徐知誥趁徐知詢入朝的機會，將其扣留，自此完全掌握南吳政權。天祚元年（935年），進封齊王。天祚三年（937年），改名徐誥。同年，杨溥让位，南吴亡。徐誥即皇帝位，建立南唐，改年號昇元。昇元三年（939年），恢復原姓，並改名李昪。 李昪登帝位後，勤於政事，並興利除弊，變更舊法；又與吳越和解，保境安民，與民休息。然而因服用方士丹藥中毒，個性變得暴躁易怒。昇元七年（943年）背上生瘡，不久病情惡化去世，諡光文肅武孝高皇帝，廟號烈祖，子李璟繼位。
