Emil Pollert (20 January 1877 - 23 October 1935) was a Czech operatic bass who had a lengthy career at the National Theatre in Prague from 1900 through 1935. Possessing a deep, expressive, and a voluminous voice, he excelled in buffo roles but also occassionally portrayed leading parts.
