Elsa Fougt, (1744-1826), was a Swedish printer, publisher, book importer and newspaper editor and an important figure in the literary market in the second half of the 18th century Sweden. Between 1772 and 1811, she ran the Royal printing and was responsible for the country's official print. Fougt was the daughter of Peter Momma, royal printer, and the publisher Anna Margareta von Bragner. In 1762 she married the official Henric Fougt.

When her parents died, both in 1772, Elsa and her husband took over their businesses, of which the most important was the Royal Printery, which they ran together until the death of her husband in 1782; as a widow, she ran the business herself and in her own name thirty years. She published French, German and Swedish drama and imported books fromSociété Typographique de Neuchâtel in Switzerland. She was also editor for the paper Stockholms Weckoblad. She was a member in the order Amarenterorden, in which she gave memorial speeches, on Anna Charlotta von Stapelmohr and Beata Elisabeth Théel. In 1811, she retired and was succeeded by her son Henric.

Fougt var dotter till den före detta kungliga boktryckaren Peter Momma och tidningsutgivaren Anna Margareta von Bragner. År 1762 gifte hon sig med ämbetsmannen och Linnélärjungen Henric Fougt. Då makarna Momma båda dog år 1772 övertog dottern Elsa och svärsonen Henric deras samtliga affärsverksamheter, där Kongl. Tryckeriet intog den främsta platsen. Tillsammans drev de sina företag fram till Henrik Fougts död år 1782. Då Elsa Fougt i och med makens bortgång uppnådde änkeståndet fick hon juridisk rätt till total kontroll över sina företag, som hon fortsatte att driva självständigt till och med 1811 då hon överlät verksamheterna på sin son Henrik Fougt d.y. Under Elsa Fougts ledning inledde Kongl. Tryckeriet en stor satsning på svensk och fransk dramatik. I sin boklåda sålde Fougt såväl tysk som fransk litteratur, och importerade även böcker från det beryktade bokförlaget Société Typographique de Neuchâtel i Schweiz. Fougt var mor till sex barn, varav fyra uppnådde vuxen ålder. Därtill var hon medlem i Stora Amaranterorden, inom vilken hon höll två minnestal; över Anna Charlotta von Stapelmohr och Beata Elisabeth Théel.
