Currently she serves as the Executive Director of the Sunlight Foundation as well as the Secretary and Treasurer of the Board of Directors. She also sits on the board of directors of the Center for Responsive Politics, for which she was also the founding Executive Director from 1984 to 1996.. In 1996 she founded the Public Campaign. And more recently, she held the position of Deputy Director for the Campaign for America's Future and directed the Project for an Accountable Congress (dates needed).
