Electronic Pop is a new music sub genre with roots in R&B, House and Dance. The sub genre was launched in 2009 with the song When Love Takes Over. "When Love Takes Over"'s track was created by David Guetta with vocals written and sung by Kelly Rowland. Though similar in name, the difference between Electronic Pop and earlier genre's like Electro Hop and Electro Pop is the harmonious fusion of modern pop and hip-hop vocalizations with dance and house rhythm.
