In a 2007 publication by Goose Lane Editions, Electric Jewels ranked number 73 on Bob Mersereaus' The Top 100 Canadian Albums list. The album contains the song Weeping Widow, the lyrics of which are rumoured to have been mailed to Goodwyn by an anonymous fan, but are now confirmed to be the work of british musician Art La King.
