Edgar Jones is an English musician from Liverpool, formerly known as Edgar Summertyme. He formed The Stairs, a sixties oriented band with English Beat, Garage Rock, Blues Rock and Psychedelic influences, as vocalist and bassist with Ged Lynn (rhythm/lead guitar), Paul Maguire (drums) and Jason Otty (harmonica).

In 2005 he published his first solo album Soothing Music for Stray Cats, a recording encompassing elements of jazz, r'n'b, soul, and doo wop.
