Eden aka recorded a version of "Helplessly Hoping" and was excited to have Stephen Stills play guitar on the album. The album was recorded by producer David Kershembaum and engineered by Duane Baron. The single became a radio hit on the east coast and thanks to appearances on Sarah McLachlan's hugely successful "Lilith Fair", major record labels pursued the band. In late 1998 Eden aka signed to Columbia Records who decided not to follow through with the release of the single and opted to wait until early 1999. Sadly for the band, the momentum ended and as the record company tried to push the band into more of a "pop" style, the band became disillusioned. Anne McCue resigned and returned to the pursuit of her solo career. The band was eventually dropped. Karen Eden stayed in the United States and resumed session work in Los Angeles. She has gone on to be heard in major hits like "High School Musical 3", "Hannah Montana" and Nickelodeon's "Spectacular!". She is also writing and working with numerous Grammy Award winners such as Jeff Silbar who wrote "Wing Beneath My Wings". Anne McCue is now recording her 6th indie album, "The Most Of Anne McCue" and Atlanta Coogan appeared on Australian Idol wrote music with Paul Kelly and Merril Bainbridge, plus recorded albums with FOGG and wrote a solo/original cabaret show "Secret Life of a sex doll" which was heralded by the Oz art scene. She also played Agnetha in the world famous tribute act "Bjorn Again".
