In a career which ran from 1887-1899, he also played for the American Association's Cleveland Blues and the NL's St. Louis Perfectos. Born in Grafton, Ohio, he racked up a grand total of 2,083 hits and 1124 RBI. He also recorded 4 seasons with over 110 RBI and owned a superb lifetime batting average of .302.
