The paint emulsion is removed after the painting process and then transparent colours remain on the canvas. In 1994 Gebski won the first prize at the Prix de Rome.

Het doel was naar eigen zeggen het ten val brengen van tweedeling tussen abstractie en figuratie, hetgeen het vrije denken zou onderdrukken.
