Edward C. Frutig (born August 19, 1918 in River Rouge, Michigan) is a former American football end who played for the University of Michigan Wolverines from 1938-1940. He was selected as a first-team All-American in 1940 by William Randolph Hearst's International News Service. A teammate of Heisman Trophy winner Tom Harmon for three years at Michigan, he was Harmon's main receiver.
