Dynamic Planning Co. , Ltd. is a licensing company and anime studio owned by manga artist Go Nagai. It was established in 1974 as a sister company of Dynamic Productions. Dynamic Planning is credited in all of Go Nagai's animated works since 1974 as the "planner" and/or "producer". Since the '70s Dynamic planning has been one of the first Japanese companies to introduce Japanese animation in Europe, Asia and America. Mazinger Z is extremely popular in Spain, Latin America and throughout Asia: UFO Robot Grendizer (aka Goldorak and Goldrake between 1976 and 1980 was a huge hit in Italy and France; Groizer X was a '80s hit in Brasil. The popular Super Robot Wars's console game features most of Dynamic Planning's giant robot characters. In 1994 Dynamic Planning established an International Division, directed by Go Nagai's brother Kenji Nagai and Federico Colpi, which soon established a network of associated companies throughout Europe and Asia called The Dynamic Group of Companies. In March 2001, the International Division was incorporated as d/world, a joint-venture between Dynamic Planning and Marubeni's subsidiary Omega Project. Following Marubeni's exit from the anime business in 2001, d/world was liquidated.

Les premiers dessins animés à rencontrer le succès sont Mazinger Z dans les pays hispaniques, Goldorak en France et en Italie, puis O Pirata do Espaço au Brésil. En 1994, Go Nagai crée une division internationale dirigée par son frère Kenji Nagai (永井謙次) et un dessinateur, éditeur, traducteur italien, Frederico Colpi. En 2001, cette division entre l'Europe et l'Asie est incorporée à d/world, regroupant ainsi en parts égales Dynamic Planning et Marubeni's, filiale de Omega Project. Mais en 2002, après avoir produit les films Cutie Honey et Mazinkaiser, Marubeni's se retire des animés, liquidant la société d/world. Cependant, Federico Colpi et Kazuhiko Murata acquièrent les parts de Marubeni's et créent d/visual qui gère à l'heure actuelle en 2009, non seulement les animés, mais également les mangas de Gō Nagai et autres.
