Dubmatique are a Canadian hip hop group from Montreal. They were the first French language hip hop crew from Canada to break through to Canada's francophone pop charts. They have released three albums: La force de comprendre in 1997, Dubmatique in 1998 and Influences in 2001. The group consisted of rappers Ousmane "OT mc" Traore and Jérôme "Disoul" Belinga.

They have released three albums: La force de comprendre in 1997, Dubmatique in 1998 and Influences in 2001. The group consisted of rappers Ousmane "OT mc" Traore and Jérôme "Disoul" Belinga. Alain "DJ Choice" Benabdallah appeared on their first two albums; he subsequently left the group, and OT MC and Disoul continued with guest DJs on the group's final album. The group's style has an acid jazz/R&B flow similar to Gangstarr and Fugees. Guest musicians on their albums have included Éric Lapointe, Shurik'n, Akhenaton and Ashley MacIsaac. Traore went on to form the production company Delaballe. Benabdallah went on to produce for several other hip hop artists in the Montreal scene such as Yvon Krevé, Sans Pression and most recently O.L.1.K.U. In February of 2009, they spoke in a live interview about their other influences, and they stated that a new rapper has changed the way that they rap, a novice rapper, Sampsonite, hailing from Kirkfield, Ontario.
