The Double-Ten Agreement, 雙十協定, is a principle agreement between the Chinese Communist Party and the Kuomintang which took place in the city of Chongqing. The former capital of the Nationalist Government. The agreement was intended to resolve the conflicts between the two parties in order to construct a new China by a peaceful way.

Therefore, according to the agreement, both sides would meet again at the 10th January 1946 for further discussion.
