Doon Arbus, (born 1945), daughter of actor Allan Arbus and the late photographer Diane Arbus, is a writer and journalist. Her sister, Amy Arbus, is a photojournalist. According to The New York Times, Doon was 26 years old when her mother died. Doon Arbus is a long-time collaborator of Richard Avedon with whom she co-authored the books, Avedon: The Sixties and Alice in Wonderland: The Forming of a Company, the Making of a Play.
