Donny Gluckstein, son of revolutionary socialist Tony Cliff, is a longstanding member of the Socialist Workers Party and author of several works on Marxist history. He went to the University of Warwick in 1974 and graduated in History. He is currently a lecturer at Edinburgh's Stevenson College.
