Dirck Rembrandtsz van Nierop (1610 Nieuwe Niedorp - 4 November 1682, Nieuwe Niedorp) was a seventeenth-century Dutch cartographer, mathematician, surveyor, astronomer, teacher and vermaner. He has more than thirty scientific publications to his name like New Dubbelt Nierper Graed-boeck that reprinted nine times in 1683, and the Renal Upper almanacs annually from 1655 to 1683 and published an adaptation of the journal of Abel Tasman. He also gave many designs of sundials to his name.
