Diane Fletcher is an English actress, born 17 April 1944 in Derbyshire. In the BBC adaption of House of Cards, and its sequels To Play the King and The Final Cut, she played Elizabeth Urquhart, wife of the murderous Chief Whip of the Conservative Party and soon Prime Minister Francis Urquhart. She was also Nancy in Fairly Secret Army, and has appeared in other popular British television shows such as Coronation Street, Within These Walls, Midsomer Murders and Heartbeat.
