Sir Deryck Maughan is a British businessman. Maughan graduated from King's College London with a BA in 1969, and subsequently earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was a Harkness Fellow. He was Chairman and CEO of Citigroup International from 1998 to 2004. He was previously Chairman and CEO of Salomon Brothers from 1992 to 1997, and Vice-Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange from 1996 to 2000.

In 2002 he made a £4m donation to King's College London to be put towards the College's Maughan Library, which was subsequently named in his honour. He was knighted in 2002.
